Alaskan indie pop artist Emily Anderson & LA based tender punk duo Power Snuggle are joining forces for the “Take My Sweater” tour this fall! These artists come together to bring a cozy, sincere, and unique performance. Having met at Berklee College of Music, they all fell in love with each other’s talents while working together as collaborators, engineers, songwriters, and producers. They are now delighted to be embarking on a West Coast Tour October-November 2017, sharing the stage with prominent local artists along the way, including incredible Portland artists Collin Stackhouse and Ky Burt! Join us Saturday, October 21st for an unforgettable evening at the Ministry of Magic!
Who are we? Where are we from? Probably not the moon!
Power Snuggle (instagram.com/powersnuggle) is one part hooky guitar meanderings, two parts vegan donuts, and all parts tenderpunk. This LA based duo is tackling the arduousness of young adulthood with lyrical charm, tongue-in-cheek self-awareness, and a soft pillow fort of musicality with the perfect amount of space for cuddling.

Collin Stackhouse (https://soundcloud.com/
Colin Stackhouse is an accomplished songwriter, singer and fiddle player. His music combines a modern vocal edge with old time instrumentation. He accompanies himself on banjo in the moments when he isn’t drawing on his roots in Irish and old time fiddling. Pop/punk/folk confessional melodies punctuating classic Americana.
Ky Burt (http://www.kyburt.com/)
Ky Burt recently released his debut studio EP, ‘The Moon and The Sea’, in October of 2016 in which he is backed by a stellar cast of Pacific Northwest musicians. A multi-instrumentalist (acoustic and electric guitar, five-string banjo) with influences spanning from old-time and bluegrass to indie rock and avant-garde folk , Burt pulls inspiration from a wide vocabulary of American root forms to create a sound full of stunning imagery and melodic depth.
